Question about AMD Ryzen 5 2400G

I have a motherboard that allows me to fire the processor with eight pins, unfortunately I only have 4 pins from the power supply, I have found out that it should work with this, but I would like to know if I lose processor performance with this?

The processor does not notice this. It therefore needs just as much power as with 8 pins. Even with intensive use of the CPU & iGPU (possibly also OC), 4 pins should be enough as long as you always have a bit of airflow in the case. TDP is only 65W, but with 8 you are on the safe side. If the 4 pins were not enough, you would see that the connector melts :D
