I have a monitor that only has a DP input. Now I have ordered this adapter: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/i-tec-usb-typ-c-zu-dp-15-cm-data-video-adapter-12378366?supplier=406802 Unfortunately, my monitor is not recognised on any USB-C port. Does anyone know a solution or is my adapter wrong? If so, which adapter would work?

Helpful answer

The DisplayPort versions of your laptop and monitor are different (1.4 vs 1.2). I can't say if this causes a problem. I would first replace the cable with another brand or an HDMI to DisplayPort cable.
