I have a 2.5'' slim HDD in my notebook, is that the same size as this SSD, especially in terms of thickness?
The thickness of the HDD could also be 9mm or even 12mm... With its 7mm, this disc should fit. If there is no suitable adapter to compensate for the thickness, you can make do with felt pads.
