It has been crashing regularly for 1 year and I restored it each time with the back up. But this time it refuses saying that the hard drive is damaged. Is it worth changing it? Or do I have better time to throw it away? And if it's worth repairing what do I need to buy? it has 16GB of RAM.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea.
