Question about Kensington Magnetic privacy filter 13" MacBook Air & Pro

I had used a privacy screen protector which cracked my MacBook Air screen, another brand, but still, I have my worries. If you close the lid without removing this privacy screen protector, does it crack the screen? The best for me would be not to remove the privacy screen as it is more practical. It says on their website, "no need to remove," but I want to hear it from the community.

I have a 2020 MBP “13 with touch bar and the privacy protector fits perfectly into the raised edge of the lid on top/sides and a raised panel at the bottom part of the screen. When closed the MBP doesn’t close perfectly like before and frankly has 1mm air gap but I have it perpetually on for past 9 months or so and no cracked screen or fear of it. Also no dust or any other worries. Hope this helps.
