I had a question about the partition size of the HD. If the source is e.g. 256Gb and I put a 512Gb HD/SDD in the 2nd slot, is the 1st partition 256 or 512 Gb large (i.e. does it make a bit copy or a sector copy). This is not clearly described. If the 1st partition is then the same size, it would not be interesting. I want to use the larger hard disk! Does this only work with MBR /Windows or also with GUID/Mac?

You can set your partitions in Windows as you like. And you can also select the partitions to which you want to write data. The device is great, but of course you should have some basic knowledge. Greetings

Hello, I had a smaller HD as source, the new HD was bigger,. After copying, the new HD had one partition (as big as the whole HD) all data had been copied in one partition. The copying process did not create a 2nd partition by the copying machine.
