I got this iron as a gift. As soon as the iron gets warm, water flows out. I have to dry the clothes again after ironing.... Upon request, Digitec replied that it can take up to 4 weeks to check the problem and then you either get the iron repaired or a new one. This is very customer-unfriendly. All competitors (Media Markt, Fust etc) would immediately replace the defective product with a new one. Due to these circumstances, I would no longer order from Digitec. I don't feel taken seriously as a customer. The iron is unfortunately going back under warranty....
This also happens with ours when it warms up, but only if it is horizontal. If you have it vertically and press the steam button 2-3 times afterwards (on a cloth, mind you, and not on clothes), all the excess water and dirt comes out and later you have peace.
