Question about Corsair SP120 RGB PRO

I connected the RGB header to an AMD FAN LED header but they only lit up for a short time and then stopped working, is the RGB lighting on this fan broken now? I have the Asrock AB350 Gaming ITX and I don't know where else to plug it in because my motherboard doesn't have RGB headers.
