If you switch off the mobile data, the runtime will be extremely long. If you also deactivate Wi-Fi, you're at about a week or even a little more.

I also bought it in the hope of having a battery for weeks without recharging. The same problem as you described. Battery life as described by you. I also found the long response time annoying. I would not buy it again.
