I am very interested in buying these ram strips. The problem is that I have read that the processor I have (Intel core i7 8086K) supports ram at 2666Mhz. https://www.intel.fr/content/www/fr/fr/products/processors/core/i7-processors/i7-8086k.html If I buy these Trident Z's that are 3200Mhz will they still work? Is there any risk of the hardware being damaged? And is there any way to make them work at 3200Mhz?

Helpful answer

Its function depends on the motherboard, it is possible to clock it at 3200 if the motherboard allows it
