I am thinking of buying this machine but I would certainly like to add an m.2 SSD and also increase the RAM to 32GB. Is this allowed or does it void the warranty?

If the design is similar https://www.youtube.com/watch this should not be a problem, as long as you do not break anything and can guarantee compatibility.
