Question about SX-S30DAB - 170838

I am looking for a receiver with FM (FM), DAB+, Bluetooth for audio from TV (Apple TV) or tablet, with inputs for turntable (MM), CD (line), headphone output and speaker connections (stereo) for Dynaudio passive speakers. I don't need all the other functions. But these would not bother me if they did not have to be activated and the unit could be used as a simple receiver without TV/HDMI. Would the SX-30DAB work like this?

- Analogue CD Line Input

The Pioneer has both analogue and digital inputs. You can therefore connect your CD player. (DVD or SAT connection, on the remote control you would have to press DVD or SAT instead of CD, as the CD input is digital only. But that's no problem.

- Bluetooth

Should be possible, as I said. I would be surprised if that were not the case.
After all, it has AirPlay, so Bluetooth

playback via Apple TV should also be possible.

I can't comment on your alternative suggestion (Digitec might not be happy about it either), as I don't own the device.

I think you can't go wrong with the Pioneer. All your needs are covered.

- FM (UKW), DAB+

Yes

- Bluetooth for audio from TV (Apple TV) or tablet

The part has AirPlay, no idea if playback via Bluetooth is possible. (according to the specifications, however, this should be the case).

Why don't you want to use the HDMI solution? Then you don't need to use the Apple TV via Bluetooth, but can play the sound directly via the amplifier and the picture goes to the TV.

In addition, it is latency-free and not susceptible to connection interruptions.

- Record player (MM)

Yes

- CD (Line)

One input is labelled "CD", but it says DIGITAL IN. Does that fit?

- Headphone output

Yes, 3.5mm

- Loudspeaker connections (stereo)

That anyway.
