Question about LaCie 2big Dock Thunderbolt 3

I am interested in a backup solution for my Mac. One choice would be the device from LACIE, 2big Dock Thunderbolt™ 3, 8 or 16 TB. Unfortunately, the reviews for the device, also on digitec's website, are not only positive. - Unfortunately, there was no suitable power cable for Switzerland included, but many others which I had to dispose of". - "The Thunderbolt 3 cable is quite short and makes poor contact, moving one of the devices or coming a little close to it interrupts the connection, unusable!" I would be interested to know if these shortcomings have been addressed before purchasing one of these backup solutions from LACIE.

It's true that the original cable is rather short (50cm), but I can't say much about the quality as I only used it for a short time because it was too short for me.
There are 5 power cables in the original packaging but none for Switzerland, but Digitec included one. Environmentally, it would be better to have only one, but that's up to the manufacturer and not Digitec.

I bought the device in December 2017. I don't remember anything about the power cable. That wouldn't have been a problem for me either, as I still have plenty of power cables from older devices. But the connection with the Thunderbolt3 cable was really not good. However, it was also due to my MacBookPro, which had loose sockets and also reacted sensitively with other cables. Maybe I changed the cable, I don't like to remember. Overall, I am very satisfied with the device.
