I am asking if there is an alternative to this product, I have big reliability problems with the two models of this Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-5525 card, installed on two different PCs.I have a big problem with the two models of this Hauppauge card, installed on two different PCs, (Programmed recording function capricious (recording every other time), tuner regularly not available when opening wintv 8, despite a recent reinstallation of Windows 10 on both PCs.

The tuner itself is reliable, only the application has problems. I use the card with DVDViewer (on 3 different PC's) and have not had any problems with the hardware. But I agree with you, the old version HVR-5500 was better (I have it on other 3 PCs)!
