Question about WD Red

...I also noticed with this product, as very often, that the price is not much higher after an expired promotion. Is it just me who notices this? Why is that? I'm waiting for an item that's on sale, I might buy it, but after the sale has ended, the "original price" has already been lowered...that's strange.
