Question about Garmin nüviCam LMT

I already have Garmin with suction cup mount. How does the magnetic mount work? How is it attached in the car?

The suction cup must be mounted on the window according to the instructions, i.e. with the suction cup pointing upwards, otherwise the suction cup will be in the picture of the camera. Tilt the bow down and press on the magnetic base. Then the GPS can be placed on the magnet and aligned without it sticking up!
It's actually described well in the installation instructions, but it's just different from the way it used to be.
