I actually only want to use the device as a media player. I.e. the films and pictures come from the Synology NAS. Is that possible without any problems? I want this device because it is compatible with my Harmony Universal remote control. The other media players here are not. Thanks

It should work with the Infuse app on the Apple TV 👍🏻.
