You need an activated SIM card with a mobile data plan for the product. You buy the data pack directly from your mobile phone provider, not via the product. Then insert the SIM, switch on the product and connect to its Wi-Fi. If necessary, you can set the network mode to 4G preferred or 4G only in the menu.
