How many bytes per sector will the disk have if I connect a SATA III SSD to it? Some SATA to USB converters change the bytes per sector from 512 to 4096. As a result, I cannot clone my hard drive in the laptop to the new SSD.

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question exactly, but the following might be helpful: I cloned my laptop hard drive (Asus G551 with 750GB HDD) to a Sata SSD (Samsung 860 Evo with 1TB) with this adapter without any problems. I used Macrium Reflect as the software for cloning.
Thank you, it should work then. I also want to clone to a Samsung 860 Evo with Macrium Reflect. When the SSD is connected to the adapter on the PC, the information "Bytes per sector" can be found under System Information -> Components -> Storage -> Disk
