Question about TechniSat Digital radio 10 IR

The unit does not have a cable or SAT tuner - you would have to contact your cable/SAT provider for this.
I also don't know of any CH stations that can't be received via DAB+ or Internet radio.

Sub-question 1:
Subjectively, TechniSat seems to have quite a large selection of (CH) internet channels. So far I have found all my favourites...

However... Disadvantages:
1) you can't enter a manual URL for channels in case a channel is not found.

2) the search is hard, i.e. no approximate string matching: your search string must therefore correspond exactly (!) to the station name, which can be very tedious, or you need some imagination as to how TechniSat might have named your station ;-)

3) Browsing for channels in a certain category is very tedious, e.g. you cannot sort alphabetically, i.e. finding your channel of choice is impossible.

I also recommend that you install the TechniSat App and use it as a remote control. Then the operation is less fiddly and you do not go mad when entering the search :-)

Question 2: Nix wisse, don't use DAB.
