How is the quality of Medion? I have only had bad experiences with the brand so far....

The build quality has improved somewhat over the years. Nevertheless, the notebooks and tablets still don't look really high-quality, even though some of the components are good. Medion is not likely to get rid of its image as a low-cost provider any time soon.

This is now my 2nd Medion laptop. So far I am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. I only had problems once when I updated the "older" device from Win 8 to Win 10. But then I got a grip on it again (complete reinstallation). But maybe I was just lucky. I had nothing but trouble with an HP laptop, for example, and since then I've been extremely unsympathetic to this brand (HP).

I wouldn't listen too much to others.
A year ago, I bought a somewhat "thicker" model from Medion for a colleague. It still runs without problems today. Games all run tiptop and smoothly. The built-in hardware is also unparalleled in this price segment. There are no visible defects in the case either. By the way, it comes from MSI.

I can only recommend it. And I'm a real desktop enthusiast, and I'm still thrilled.
