How high does the CPU clock under full load when PL1 and PL2 are set to the possible 219W? Thanks for the information if anyone knows.
Thanks for the detailed answer. I am well aware of this information and the cooling should not be a problem, I have a custom water cooling system and the water temperature is around 30 degrees. I'm more concerned with the all-core turbo clock of the i7-14700 if you override all the power limits. Intel limits the non-K CPUs on the hardware side to the specified 219W even if you set the BIOS to unlimited. I don't think that the CPU boosts 5.2-5.5 GHz under full load on all cores (rendering), but rather the single core turbo. I would like to estimate how big the jump to 12700 would be. There is almost no information about the CPU on the net.
According to AI:
The exact clock frequency of a CPU under full load when PL1 and PL2 are set to 219 W depends on various factors, such as the specific processor, its architecture, and the cooling solution. When PL1 and PL2 are set to 219 W, the CPU could reach clock frequencies in the range of about 5.2 GHz to 5.5 GHz under full load, depending on the factors mentioned above.
