How high above the projector is the image projected?
Regarding the distance of the projector depending on the image size, there is an informative table in the manual: http://www.lg.com/us...
Basically, the 0.672 metres are correct (approximately), but there is a small deviation due to the special lens - just look in the manual and you'll find out immediately.
I can confirm that the wall is flat. Due to the short distance, there is of course a correspondingly steep angle, so you see every unevenness on the wall.
Answer from a customer who contacted us regarding the question: it depends on the distance between the projector and the wall (and also the size of the picture).
He should download the manual from the manufacturer's website.
there is a wide range of information.
Thank you very much for your answers.
I would like to use it for 16:9 maximum (2.40 width x 1.35 illumination). This corresponds to a diagonal of 275 cm and 108 inches.
I would also like to use the beamer as a tv replacement, so the added value must also be the size so that you can do without the tv.
I have read that you have to have an "a** smooth" wall because of the convex lens that radiates upwards at an angle.
I assume that you have a 100 inch diagonal wall (or width?). how far away (distance between beamer and wall) do I need to illuminate a 100 inch diagonal? The beamer itself should be approx. 31 cm long.
I am not entirely clear about the projection ratio. If I calculate 2.4 * 0.28, I get a wall distance of 0.672 metres. is that including the beamer? or am I calculating something wrong?
I have a 100 inch frame screen from Elite Screen, you should not go over 100 inches, otherwise too much sharpness and brightness is lost. The projector does its job quite well, I need it as a television replacement and it is indeed a television shock. But it has to be said that it is not a home cinema projector, the contrast, brightness, sharpness and black level are too low, but in this price range the projector is a real recommendation.
My first experiment showed that the distance from the beamer to the lower edge of the image and the distance from the table to the lower edge of the image are identical.
Example: I have the beamer on the table 40 cm away from the wall and the image starts 40 cm above the table surface.
Another thing: the beamer is extremely fast > thanks to LED.
