The emergency function is activated in the event of a strong shock or if you tap the display several times quickly. You have 10 seconds to cancel this (the watch also vibrates during this time, so you will also notice that the watch has detected a fall, even though you may not have fallen at all). The watch will then connect to your mobile and send the GPS location via message to your emergency contact(s). The emergency contact can then react accordingly.
