Question about Arctic F12 Pro PWM PST
How can I tell which direction the fan is blowing? There are no arrows on it and the rotor blades are clockwise, unlike 95% of the usual fan pictures. I'm slightly confused...
You can recognise it by the "protective grille": The protective grille is always mounted at the intake, i.e. from the side with the protective grille to the rear without the protective grille.
Why is it clockwise? The motor was mounted "at the front" (i.e. in front of the fan blades), which is quite untypical for fans and that is why the fan was designed so that the flow direction is always directed to the rear, theoretically a "reversed fan" with the same air flow direction.
