Question about ASUS Pce-Ac68
Hm... I bought it in the hope that it would achieve more than the 100Mbit/s of my Cat5 Ethernet. Unfortunately, the card just about manages it. Router is also rated for 1300Mbit/s. Does anyone know why I can't get more out of it?
Well, that can have many reasons. You will not be able to reach the theoretical speed. Now the question is what values you have. Perhaps the most important point: Is MiMO active? Because that is the big advantage of IEEE 802.11ac. It could also be due to the antivirus settings or, as usual, distance / building structure, but this is a "problem" with every WLAN. Are there other networks in your frequency band? There are a few points you can check.
