I'm thinking of installing an M2.SSD (240 or 480) in my system for the operating system. A few programmes and a few games will go on it.

Does that make sense or should I take the M2 as OS and another SSD for programs and games? Or save the money from the M2 and take a SATA SSD?

The data storage (photos, videos, private documents, documents studies etc.) is done on a mounted drive from the NAS. That's why I'm not installing an HDD.

If you take an m.2, then definitely only for the OS and programmes. For games, an HDD or a Sata SSD is sufficient.
