Kärcher FC 8 Smart Signature Line
Hi, is there a warranty on the battery and if so, how long does it last? As it is not replaceable, does that mean if it breaks I should throw the whole machine away? Thank you!
My experience with Kärcher has been very positive so far, I assume that a battery will also be replaced via customer service - probably for a fee - after the warranty has expired
The device will probably be broken long before the battery...the FC7 lasted me barely 10 months. Returned with new battery in perfect condition.
The European 2 years warranty policy should apply on the battery too. Unless you use your FC8 excessively, it will most likely be with you for really long time. I have been using my old FC7 generally 2-3 time per week for 4 years. The battery is still fine. Do not let the battery completely dry out.
