Question about Digitec iot Data Flat
Hi, I'm thinking of buying one of your simcards for a router, I am considering buying one of your sim cards for a router. However, I have read comments about the Sunrise network only being suitable for 5G devices. I'm also wondering whether the device I have (Netgear Hotspot Nighthawk M1 https://www.galaxus.ch/fr/s1/product/netgear-hotspot-nighthawk-m1-routeur-7547179?supplier=406802) is compatible with your iot cards at the advertised speed or whether the speed will be greatly reduced. The SIM card in digitec's "iot Data flat (30 days unlimited 300 Mbit/s unlimited)" subscription is compatible with the Sunrise network, which offers 3G, 4G/LTE and 5G coverage.
The Netgear Hotspot Nighthawk M1 you mention is compatible with 4G/LTE networks and can also operate on 3G and 5G networks, thanks to its support for several frequency bands, including those used by Sunrise.
Since the Nighthawk M1 supports LTE Advanced Pro and four-band aggregation, it should be able to deliver the speeds advertised in your subscription, including up to 300 Mbps, in areas where Sunrise network reception is good.
So you shouldn't experience any significant reduction in speed with this device, provided the APN settings are correctly configured for the Digital Republic operator and the Sunrise network.
