Question about ASUS ROG Strix G16 RTX 4080
Hi, I wanted to buy a Dock so I can charge my laptop at home. I also need to buy a charger that is lighter. Can I buy any charger that is 90W? and will this dock be able to transfer 165hz to the screen? https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/hp-g5-essential-usb-c-docking-stations-usb-hubs-22496565

Hi Pedro. Dock compatibility with this laptop was a pain for me. Non of the three docks i testet was the powerbutton working, so i had to open the laptop everytime i wanted to start it.
Once i vorgot my charger and had to borow a 60W one. The laptop was charging but erery time the GPU got a bit of load (Loding a web page or draging the browser window) a Notification poped up "Insufficient Powerdelivery" or something.
I do not know what ist to blame on my setup but i had to manualy set det color bits for my non HDR external monitor, otherwise the colors looked strange.
As for the refreshrate, i only tried 144Hz and that worked fine on my Thunderbolt 4 dock.
