I had exactly the same problem. It turned out to be a fault. Fortunately, the product was still under warranty and Galaxus took care of the replacement without any difficulty.

Hello, the base should recognise the H14 automatically. The long handle should be pushed slightly forwards so that the H14 stands on its own. Only then should you place it exactly on the base station from above until it clicks into place or makes contact with the base. You will then hear a voice saying that the H14 is charging. You can then briefly press the cleaning button at the top of the handle once so that the H14 starts the self-cleaning process. If none of this works, there may be a technical fault.
