Question about WD Red Plus

Hi Digidog, they do crackle a little bit when they spin up but otherwise pretty quiet. My Synology NAS sits next to me on my desk and it does not bother at all. But the previous answer is very valid too: fan noise/nas cooler ....

They don't make any noise, the problem could be your cooling system
