Hello, you need to purchase the SP Connect Bike Bundle or Moto Bundle (depending on your needs) to connect the two. The holder goes on the handlebar and the SP Connect replaces your protective case on the iPhone. Just make sure you get the right size. This is not always clear. Greetings MJM
