Hello Is this SSD compatible with my Mac Book Pro from 2013? Now it only has 500GB in it and I should have more storage. Thank you very much for your answer.
NO
For two reasons:
Because in the years from ca 2013 Apple partly used different SSD than the ones used nowadays. See for example
https://www.notebookcheck.com/Test-Apple...
"Unfortunately, the SSD does not yet support the modern NVMe standard, which among other things allows more efficient management of parallel accesses, but instead communicates with the system via the conventional AHCI protocol."
because according to Apple's Tech Daternblatt SSD is only supported up to 768 GB.

With the Macbook Pro "from 2013" you have to be a bit more precise. The late 2013 models have the new SSD with the narrow form factor, the ones from before still have the normal 2.5" SSDs. If you want to upgrade the SSD in a late 20123 Macbook Pro or newer, then I would only use ones from OWC. They are made specifically for Macbooks and work great. I have already installed them in several Macbook Pro's. It's best to take the set with the external housing for the old SSD - the external drive with the old SSD inside is ultra-fast and robust. https://eshop.macsales.com/shop...
