Acer Kp.06501.002
65 W
Hello Is this part compatible for the ACER Aspire A515-54? The original part also only has 45 watts. Is it not allowed to use a stronger one or what would happen? Thank you for answers...
According to my research, the original power supply from the Aspire A515-54 also produces 65 watts - However, with power supplies of all kinds, the correct output voltage (in this case 19 volts) is the most important thing. Multiplied by the current, this gives the watts: 19 volts x 2.37 amps = 45 watts power supply, 19 volts x 3.42 amps = 65 watts power supply.
As long as the output voltage is correct (19 V) you can also use power supplies with higher watts, the unit will simply draw as much and as fast current as it can and needs.
Attention; the hollow plug of this power supply seems to have a size of 5.5 x 1.7 mm (inner and outer diameter), while your Acer needs a smaller plug according to my Google search: 3.0 x 1.0. It is best to contact our customer service so that we can find a suitable power supply for you 👍
