Good advice. Never mix cables from different manufacturers. Even cables from one brand of different generations should be used with caution.

I have a corsair HX1200i and I ordered some from aliexpress, but I wouldn't plug them in without having done some tests and measurements outside the computer first (I'm an electrician). I'll keep your question to one side and will say more when it comes (it's 1 month of delivery and my rtx doesn't seem to arrive at all:/ so no info soon)

No, but Corsair has developed its own 12vhpwr cable which will be sold on Digitec (probably in 1 month).
