Question about Govee TV Backlight
Hello, I was wondering, is it possible to place the camera below the television or does it have to be on top? If it can't be placed below, why not? I don't know if the camera addresses the colours by following the start of the power box or if it's possible to place it normally, as it should be and from an application or box that doesn't matter indicate the direction? The camera can be positioned below the television, but does not have to be on top. The camera can be positioned either at the top or the bottom, depending on the preference and configuration of the installation.
However, the top position is often recommended by the manufacturer as the default for better initial calibration. If the camera is positioned at the bottom, it may be necessary to adjust certain parameters or use specific tricks for colour detection to work correctly, as the camera needs to see the calibration cubes placed at the edges of the screen for optimum rendition.
As far as the direction of the camera is concerned, it is generally possible to place it in the normal direction, and the application or box can be used to indicate or adjust the direction so that colour detection is correct, regardless of the physical position of the camera.
In short, you can place the camera below the TV, but you'll need to make sure you calibrate it properly via the application to ensure colour accuracy.
