Question about Astro Gaming A50 Ps4
Hello I tested my new astro a50 yesterday for the first time in chat and game play. My question is whether it is normal when I confirm the rocker button on the side with game that all the sound from the game and the chat first becomes quiet and then is completely off? I have only connected the heatset to the ps4 with the optical cable. Somehow I don't really understand the function of the rocker. I thought that when you press game the game sound gets louder and when you tap voice the voice chat gets louder.

Found the problem. In the PS 4, the audio output was not changed to chat audio. After I changed it, it works fine.

My impression is that the rocker switch can only be used to "turn down" one thing or another.
The basic volume is controlled with the wheel.
The best thing to do is to set the rocker switch on the right ear cup to the middle position (when the higher tone appears, you are in the middle). Then I would adjust the basic volume with the wheel. It's best to set it so that neither is too loud or too quiet.
Then you can use the rocker to make either the voice chat sound quieter or the game sound.
Finally, adjust the volume again with the wheel.
This worked wonderfully for me.
Now I can hear the game sound perfectly as well as every fart of my friends in the voice chat.
