Question about Albrecht Dr 56+

Hello I have been using the device for about 2 years with moderate quality; in any case much worse than the previous FM network. I've got used to it in the meantime; only: abroad (e.g. Austria) no chance; the station search doesn't find anything. Do I have to change anything or what could be the reason? Could I also access my CH channels abroad? I use the original disc antenna, transmission to the original radio via FM signal, I have not connected the mobile phone to the Albrecht. Thank you very much

Helpful answer
Just back from Germany. Worked great (same transmitter from Berlin to Lörrach). Of course you have to rescan. However, I'm not entirely happy with the device and the relatively difficult search for suitable channels....

I have already replied to this elsewhere. The reception quality of the foil aerial can be described as satisfactory. An external aerial or switch delivers better results.
I was travelling in D and F today. Perfect, interference-free reception.
I am only dissatisfied with CH. DAB-Swiss and the Bantiger transmitter have been "censoring" a lot of stations again since 5 January 2025! What's the point? (Until the end of 2024, the offer was much larger, and many radio stations from other regions of Switzerland could still be received.

Austria has hardly expanded DAB+ yet.

Hi - my device is working perfectly. (Except for a few dead spots). Unfortunately I can't help you abroad :-(

I have been using this device for over 4 years and am very satisfied with it.
Requirements:
- The disc antenna must be installed exactly according to the instructions. Then the scan will find stations immediately.
- The audio signal should be connected to the car radio via the Aux connection. The sound will then be much richer.
Only national programmes can be received. There are also European countries that have said goodbye to DAB (e.g. Finland).
