Question about Denon AVR-X1700H DAB
Hello I have a 5.1 speaker system at home. Can I connect this to a 7.2 receiver? Can I set this on the receiver or does it recognise the analh speakers?
Yes, very easy to set up, just follow the setup wizard.
Yes, no problem. I have also connected a 5.1 speaker system to this AVR. The connections for speakers 6 and 7 and the second subwoofer simply remain unconnected.
I can't remember exactly whether the setup wizard recognised the 5.1 setup itself or whether I had to select it. But in any case, it was very simple and problem-free.
