Question about be quiet! Pure Rock Slim 2
Hello, Does anyone know if there is a good quality ventirad that doesn't require the motherboard to be removed to change the mounting plate? In other words, I would like to be able to use the original fixings, otherwise I would have to remove everything. Thanks for your help.
This ventirad does not require a plate on the back of the motherboard. It uses a clip system (but with limited pressure on the cpu).
Without knowing exactly, probably not. If you're looking for a fan like this, you need a corresponding throughput. The problem is not the original mounting of the mainboard but the strength. The bracket supplied ensures that the mainboard does not break. You could at most have a look at the top blowers. They are not built as high, so the load on the mainboard is not as high.
