Hello together I bought the motherboard and run it together with a Ryzen 3700x and a M2 SSD The whole system takes a very long time to start, i.e. when I switch on the PC I first have a black screen for 10-20 seconds before the boot process starts... does anyone know what the reason for this could be?

I have the same mainboard with a Ryzen 5 5600X, 4x8GB (32GB) RAM at 3200 MHz.

Try resetting the BIOS to default so you can see if it is due to any setting. If you reset the BIOS and the problem persists, try the following points:

1. check if the RAM is compatible with your CPU (in terms of MHz).

Unplug all external devices (components). Harddisk, Audio Interface, Ect... And leave only mouse, keyboard, screen plugged in and restart the PC!

This way you can determine if any external hardware is causing a conflict.

If you have 2 hard drives in there, try unplugging the 2nd one and run Windows only with the M2 SSD. (To see if the 2nd hard drive is causing the system to take longer to boot).

3. almost the most important thing when buying a new motherboard. Update the BIOS (if it is not the latest version). In my case, the BIOS installed on the motherboard was not compatible with the Ryzen 5 5600X, and only after updating the BIOS was I able to boot the PC at all.

I hope some of these points can help you.

Many greetings 🖖

with a similar behaviour I did not have the RAM in the correct slot, Autodetect took longer to boot up
