Hello together Have now also purchased it ;-) How important is the connection with the magnet for reception? It is difficult for me to attach the magnet to the vehicle chassis or roof. Does it work well without the magnet? Who has experience with this?
Earthing is important I have pulled it to the door and it works very well.
It is never easy to attach the magnet to the chassis. For my installation, I lifted the headliner slightly with a bicycle tyre spreader tool, just enough to fit the magnet through. You can find out if it holds or not simply by trying to move the magnet.
Without the magnet, the device will not be earthed to the vehicle and the reception will be severely impaired.
