Hello together. I bought the Sileno Smart City 500 a year ago. First it was defective on delivery, had to be sent in and then the electronics were replaced. Then it worked during the summer. In the autumn I hosed it down (as you are allowed to do according to the instructions as it is waterproof). Then I put it in the cellar for the winter. Now it no longer works and I have sent it back to the SERTRONICS service centre. They now say that there is water in the robot and that it is a total loss and will not be replaced under warranty. The robotic mower had already been to SERTRONIC and was no longer waterproof. Now the fault is being passed on to me as the customer and will not be replaced or repaired despite the guarantee! Has anyone else had such problems with SERTRONICS that errors in the repair department are then blamed on the customer? It's a real shame, I would have been better off getting a Landi robot, my colleague's was replaced without any problems after a defect. :-(
I am very satisfied so far. However, I must say that I have not yet used the Sertronic service. I wanted to do a winter service this year, but at these prices I didn't and will only take the robot in for a service if something doesn't work.
I am very happy with my robotic mower and fortunately have had no repairs. I would never spray the machine with water. It is better to let it dry and then clean it with a brush.
Of course it is not correct that there is no repair within the warranty. I have also heard that the Landi shop is very good and uncomplicated.
