Hello to all I have read several negative reviews like the following: - SSD very slow, also SSD burnt down within a very short time - Fans are very loud - Wrong motherboard - Customer support/warranty bad reviews I would like to buy this PC. Therefore my questions to all who have bought it. Is Captiva generally a bad brand? Are you still satisfied with the PC? Recommendation yes/no? Please be so kind and share your experience. Thank you very much

Helpful answer
The SSD is approx. 25% slower than a Samsung 990 Pro, I don't know how long it will last.
The fans are quite loud, but can be adjusted adaptively and are then virtually inaudible (only) in IDLE.
The customer service is absolutely convincing, always reply within less than 1 hour, really great!
All in all, I am very satisfied and would buy again.

Hello
I have already bought 3 Captiva computers and have never been really dissatisfied with any of them. However, it is true that this one computer produced loud fan noise at the beginning after a short time, which I was then able to fix "manually". Another customer here also had this problem, have a look here :-)

In terms of performance, I have nothing to criticise. It's not a current CPU but still has quite a bit of steam as it's a "K" core. I run mine with "IntelExtremeTuning" and that naturally generates a lot of waste heat when overclocking, the computer can get very hot at the top. Some would say that the water cooling is underpowered, I would say it's my own fault if I push it beyond the usual performance limits, use common sense. It's in the nature of things that you could always have installed something better somewhere. I only bought it back then because of the 5080 and later upgraded it completely with 128GB for small AI projects. It's still running tip top today, but it's not really old yet. I can't say anything about support because I've never had any contact with them. Can this PC be noisy, of course yes, but the card also produces a lot of waste heat, especially with the way I use it. I can't say anything negative about the SSD either. It's not a top model, that's for sure, 0815 off the shelf. In my case it is the "MP33 PRO M.2 PCIe SSD" from "TEAM Group". Since a customer was once interested in it, I have compiled the following data, check it out here:

I would say that the installed parts are all in the middle upper range. Not the best, but there are much worse parts, in my opinion. I think the RAM runs in the XMP-6000 profile ex works, but because I have installed all four banks, the clock has dropped to 5600.

I don't think the price-performance ratio is exaggerated from today's perspective. Depending on the branding, a 5080 also costs at or over 1000 bucks today and we all know how expensive DDR564GB can be oO, I would think the average is between 500 and 800 bucks, so that's 1500 to 1800 just for the parts. The rest for CPU / SSD / WAKÜ / NT, I find somewhere in the frame for 2600.
