Question about Ergotron HX Monitor Arm mit patentierter CF-Technologie

Hello, the payload of this product is given as 7.9 kg and the max. size of the two monitors is 32". Isn't that a blatant contradiction? I think a single 32" monitor already exceeds this load, but I would like to mount 2 x 32".

You're right about that. My monitors are well over the 7.9kg, about 10kg combined. However, less like 32" each, so this is probably a trade-off, either one or the other.

The data sheet states that the load capacity is 2.3 - 8.0 kg per monitor, i.e. up to 16 kg for the HX Double Total.
I have 2 x 32" MSI Optix MAG321CURV mounted on it, each weighing 7.3 kg. This works perfectly.

The payload is only half stated in the shop. According to the manufacturer and its product data sheet, the maximum load capacity of the HX version is 19 kg. With two identical monitors, it is divided accordingly in half.
