Hello, quick question for everyone: Do I understand correctly that I can connect an additional PCIe card to this kit? I would like to install a Blackmagic Caputre card.

Yes, that is possible. I use the NUC myself and it has room for an additional card. Maximum length of the card is 8 inches, i.e. approx. 20 cm.
