Hello, one of the illustrations shows a small container with butter. Does this mean that you can mix salted butter, for example, when preparing it in the machine? Thank you

No, you can't add butter or sugar. It is a hot air popcorn machine. Popcorn gets a little dry and you can only sweeten it afterwards, e.g. with icing sugar.
