Besides, from my experience, LG is quite difficult to deal with when you have problems. Not only once, but 22 (!!) times you will have to run after them if you encounter a problem within the warranty period. Lies over the lies. Products are sometimes good, but I would choose another brand altogether.

I am a bit surprised that there is interest for this monitor at all, it has a very low resolution and I would personally not recommend to buy this one. Three things are wrong here, the resolution, the panel technolgy (it is the worst of all, TN) and also the price. In my opinion it is way too high for what you get.

If you want to watch TV on a monitor, it would be much better and less inexpensiove to e.g. simply connect a Google ChromeCast with Google TV to a HDMI input and you could select a monitor with integrated speakers, they would also have much better picture clarity and quaility beause this LG monitor you asked for information does not even have Full HD 1920x1080 Pixels resolution.

I would advise to get the Samsung M5 instead, it has great speakers, a full HD resolution and also comes with TV Playback capabilities. It is a smart tv, meaning it can also do a ton of other things, e.g. you could also connect to Microsoft 365 with only a keyboard and mouse attached to it (no computer required).
