Hello, is this the right external hard drive for my MacBook Pro 13 to store photos? And what kind of connection cables do I need? Thank you and LG

Hello @Uhorisberger, this hard disk should serve for the following Mac OS X versions:

10.6 (Snow Leopard)i, 10.7 (Lion)i, 10.8 (Mountain Lion)i, 10.9 (Mavericks)i, 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.11 (El Capitan), 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra).

But it should always work - sometimes you have to format the hard drive to an "Apple format", but that shouldn't be a problem.

I can't find anything in the description but usually the USB cable is included.

Otherwise it would be one of these: LINK2GO USB 3.0 Cable (A - Micro, 1m, 3.0)
